A Home Bakery in Singapore Founded on Passion
Founded in March 2020 amid the pandemic shutdown, The Homme Baker has been delighting customers with handmade premium quality pastries and confectionaries. It is helmed by Bangkok-born pastry chef Pond Lim, who majored in culinary arts at a university in Thailand.
Pond discovered his passion for baking at the age of 18. He often reimagines classic flavours by integrating influences from diverse cuisines and cultures. Over the years, he has expanded his repertoire of baked creations to include chocolates, mooncakes, and an array of other sweet treats.
After moving to Singapore, Pond continues to chase his baking dream while juggling his production house job. Pond's perseverance led to the establishment of The Homme Baker, which premiered with his signature pièce de résistance — the T&J Collection. It has since become a bestseller.
Each of Pond's creations is diligently handmade from scratch using fresh quality ingredients. His inventive take on classic flavours and creative improvisation of ingredients have earned him recognition and support from customers.
